Forest Elementary Color Fun Run a Bright Success

On Friday, May 29th, students and staff at Forest Elementary School enjoyed a colorful day of fun, fitness, and school spirit during the annual Color Fun Run, organized by Mrs. Kim Ng.

The entire school headed outside to “Run Like Forest” while parents and staff members lined the course ready to toss colorful chalk powder onto the runners and walkers. Students laughed, ran, and walked their way through the course, ending the event covered from head to toe in bright colors.

Forest’s mascot, Bucky, was on hand cheering on participants and helping keep excitement high throughout the event. With perfect weather and smiling faces everywhere, the Fun Run quickly became a highlight of the school year.

At the end of the run, the Riverview Fire Department brought a fire engine to the school grounds and helped hose off the colorful students, adding even more excitement to an already unforgettable day.

It was truly an amazing time had by all. Thank you to Mrs. Ng for all of her hard work and dedication in organizing such a fun and successful event for the students and staff of Forest Elementary School.
