A heart jumping rope with the American Heart Association logo

During the week of March 2, Forest Elementary students and their families participated in the annual Jump Rope for Heart event. Throughout the week, students and willing parents came to the gym to jump rope together while supporting a great cause.

Thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of the Forest Elementary community, the school raised a total of $3,207.99 for the American Heart Association. The fundraiser helps support heart health education and research while encouraging students to stay active and take care of their hearts.

A special congratulations goes to Ms. Schock’s kindergarten class, which generated the highest total class donation of $689.  As a reward for their outstanding effort, the class will receive extra gym time.

Individual recognition also goes to Emma V. from Mrs. Grunwald’s class, who was the top fundraiser in the school. As a special prize, Emma will get to be the gym teacher for the day.

Forest Elementary would like to thank all students, families, and staff members who participated and helped make this event such a success. Your support made a big difference!
